Gikanda cooperative, Nyeri, Kenya

Kenya was kind of challenging this year as well. Not because what we got wasn’t good enough, but basically we couldn’t get enough AA’s with the profile we were looking for. But fortunately some of the AB’s were killer coffees as well! As for Ethiopia most of them got sold prior to arrival, at least the AA. We have some limited amounts left. Some boxes of AA Ndaroini as well as some bags of AB Kangocho.

In a few months time we are going in to the main season for most Kenyan areas, and as always it will be pretty exciting to see what the quality will be like this year. We will be there to check out stuff both during harvest and post-harvest to cup. We expect the first arrivals next year to be around March/April if all goes well.
