We are looking for a Head of Marketing 

The Head of Marketing will have the responsibility of creating, executing, and leading impactful marketing strategies, while navigating through the specialty coffee sector and its opportunities. In addition to overseeing and collaboratively executing all market and communication-related operations with the team, the role also includes analyzing market trends, identifying product or service positioning opportunities, and strategic communication of the company’s value proposition.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute the B2B Marketing strategy, to enhance our position as the leading specialty green coffee importer internationally.
  • Responsible for lead generation/customer acquisitions, trialing new channels and scaling those that are working.
  • Work closely with the CEO and Director of Operations to deliver an excellent customer experience across marketing channels, aligning with the company’s commercial objectives.
  • Lead cross-collaboration between the Marketing strategy and sales objectives, supporting the sales team achieve revenue growth across their accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Procurement to pin-point Marketing opportunities from our operations at origin, creating compelling narratives for our products and streamlining information flow between departments.
  • Take ownership of the data analytics across our marketing and sales functions, ensuring we can make informed data-driven decisions and understand our ROI from marketing spend.
  • Own our B2B brand, lead our PR, ensuring the messaging is consistent and reflects the direction the business is going and increase brand equity.
  • Manage a budget and lead a team of 3 marketers.
  • Support the launch of our new website and upcoming customer portal to increase our service level, drive sales, and develop a more digitized customer journey. 
  • Integrate our sustainability initiatives as an integral part of our organization and brand identity.

Your profile

  • 5 years+ B2B Marketing experience, as a manager or team leader, with a track record of devising and implementing strategy, as well as delivery of campaigns across both Account Based and Inbound motions.
  • A strong track record of delivering on or above target lead generation.
  • Expertise in establishing a unique positioning, and crafting compelling messaging that fits a multi-stakeholder journey.
  • Strong commercial acumen paired with entrepreneurial energy, creativity, and a customer-first mindset.
  • A strong focus on data-driven decisions, with experience in setting up approaches to tracking.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentational).
  • It would be preferable if you’ve had experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial and scaling business environments & working across multiple markets.

Location: This position is based in Oslo, Norway at our HQ.
